There are too many breweries in CA that love to be frequented by us. ![]() On another noter: My son and I had eaten and imbibed in this establishment the night before this uncomfortable evening, and had a good experience. This was truly not a server related problem. When the server attended to our group he was gracious, and expressed that he was cognizant of our difficulties with the sitting arrangement. We didn't want to make the evening for my graduating granddaughter and her friends a negative experience. Had I been more knowledgeable about the local area, I would have suggested a different place to eat. I wondered if she thought that I had just come from their parking lot, where all so many homeless roamed. Shortly after we were seated the manager made it clear to me that the gratuity at the going rate was included in the price for the group ( not uncommon), but then told me that the check could not be split either. This came with the common ill looking faces upon the manager and receptionist. We expressed out desire to be in the front of the café but were told that wasn't happening. We never though that we would be placed in the back where we were facing a wall and next to the men's restroom. We expressed our great desire to be seated in the front of the care/brewery. Solid Gold is a drinkable premium lager brewed with the highest quality ingredients. There was also, one table marked reserved. There were clearly empty tables in the lovely decorated front area of the café/brewery. When we left the graduation to secure seating for 10 people, originally 9, we were place in the back room.
